Adult CanSkate is designed for anyone aged 18 and older who wants to learn to skate or improve their skating skills in a comfortable, encouraging setting. Whether you’re stepping on the ice for the first time or returning after many years, this program gives you the confidence and technique you need to feel more stable, efficient and in control.

Overview

Adult CanSkate follows Skate Canada’s national CanSkate program, adapted to meet the needs and learning pace of adult skaters. Our certified coaches use progressive skill development, clear demonstrations and hands-on guidance to help adults learn safely and comfortably.
Each class includes warm-ups, skill circuits, balance work, stride development and time to practice at your own pace.

Every Adult CanSkate session includes:

What to Wear

  • CSA-approved hockey helmet (required for all adult participants)
  • Gloves
